Mrs Rita and her husband Mr George, both born in Symi island, left Greece and immigrated to Africa.
They stayed there for some years, worked, had two children and returned to Rhodes, ready to start their family business. They built ”Africa hotel” and worked there as it was their second home.
The business grew bigger and bigger and Africa hotel gained many fans and trusted guests, willing to come every year to taste Mrs Rita’s famous home-made treats: brioches, cakes, pasta-flora, biscuits, doughnuts, rice puddings, wine custard and her indulgent signature apple pies.
Her smile, her kindness and her willingness to assist everyone, made the guests feel like family and they were coming year after year, to experience nice holidays with her and the rest of the family, Katerina and Tsampicos. They are carrying on the tradition successfully by materializing a new business plan, dedicated to their ancestor, Rita.
