A secret Paradise, Rodini Park!

Rodini park is like an oasis located in the middle of Rhodes Town. It is around 3 km from the centre, and really easy to access as it is at the beginning of the main road of the island. The entrance is free and the parking is also easy.
When you enter the park, the serenity, the calm atmosphere and the feeling of fresh air on your face is something that you will always remember.
Rodini Park was the first park to be landscaped and one of the oldest parks ever, as it is dated back at the Roman Times. It is believed that even Julius Caesar had visited it and built the water canal there.
Inside the park, there is a large water tower, which during the ancient years it was providing water to the whole town.
In the small river flowing through the park, you can spot turtles and fishes navigating around, white and pink water lilies decorating the water surface and romantic wooden walkways that help you pass from one side to the other. There are ducks, swans, peacocks and deers. Several waterfalls offer extraordinary views and as soon as you want to take some rest, there are benches to sit down and enjoy this magnificant pine tree forest. Next to the deer area, there is also a children playground, for our young visitors..
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this secret gem of Rhodes and especially during a warm day!
